The Foundation
The Development Authority of Bryan County has leveraged our incredible resources over the course of our 20-year existence. We are looking forward to building on our achievements for another 20 years of continued growth and excellence for our community..
Since 2005, the DABC has been responsible for bringing in approximately $12.4 Billion in promised investment and over 17,000 in promised jobs to Bryan County. These investments into our community have resulted in our community becoming the fastestgrowing County in the State of Georgia and the 6th fastest-growing County in the United States of America, as per the 2020 U.S. Census. Our growth has made Bryan County a destination where careers thrive and retirement feels right at home.
Nestled along Georgia’s coastline, Bryan County seamlessly blends small-town charm with modern convenience, creating an ideal environment for businesses, families, and professionals. With a top-tier graduation rate, CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) career pathway programs, strong regional income levels, and a high standard of living, Bryan County is a destination of choice for corporate executives, site selectors, and relocating employees. We differ from many other communities as Bryan County offers the best of both worlds—the tranquility of suburban and coastal living with seamless access to urban amenities. Located just minutes from historic downtown Savannah and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, residents and businesses alike benefit from efficient connectivity to major markets. Interstate 95 and Interstate 16 provide direct routes for commuters, executives, and logistics operations, ensuring that business and life move smoothly.
Quality of Life: A Place For All To Call Home
Bryan County is a place not just for industry to call home but for all. For site selectors and business leaders, relocating employees and attracting talent is easier in a place people want to live. Bryan County offers not just a place to work, but a place to thrive, with a strong sense of community, a thriving economy, and a lifestyle that balances opportunity with well-being. Whether you’re a corporate executive, a growing family, or a young professional, Bryan County provides the perfect environment to live, work, and prosper.
Our coastal setting and mild climate make outdoor recreation a way of life. The County boasts expansive parks, nature preserves, and waterways, providing opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, and golf. Fort McAllister State Park offers a mix of history, trails, and waterfront access. The Ogeechee and Medway Rivers provide stunning settings for kayaking and sportfishing. The Canoochee, Jerico, and Tivoli, and other estuaries and tributaries lead to the Historic St. Catherines Island and the Atlantic Ocean. We have Championship golf courses and recreational facilities which make Bryan County a haven for active lifestyles. Finally, for corporate relocations, the ability to offer employees and executives a high quality of life is a competitive advantage, and Bryan County delivers.
Strategic Location: Unmatched Market Access Companies have also continued to choose Bryan County because of our strategic location. Positioned along Georgia’s southeastern coast, Bryan County provides unparalleled access to domestic and international markets. Whether by road, rail, air, or sea, businesses operating here move goods faster, more efficiently, and at a lower cost than competitors in less connected regions. Located just 20 minutes west of Savannah, Bryan County sits at the heart of one of the fastest-growing economic corridors in the United States. With direct connections to major metro areas and an infrastructure network designed for speedto- market, companies here benefit from:
- Proximity to the Port of Savannah One of the fastest-growing and most efficient container ports in the U.S., making global trade seamless.
- Two-Day Access to 80% of the U.S. Market Positioned for rapid delivery by road, rail, air, and sea.
